| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Section 109.22(b), Alcoholic Beverage Code, is |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (b) For the purpose of participating in an organized |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | tasting, evaluation, competition, or literary review, a person to |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | whom this section applies may deliver wine, ale, malt liquor, or |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | beer produced and manufactured by the person to locations that are |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | licensed or not licensed under this code for the purpose of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | submitting those products to an evaluation at an organized tasting |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | competition that is closed to the general public or by a reviewer |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | whose reviews are published if: |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (1) no charge of any kind is made for the wine, ale, |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | malt liquor, or beer, for its delivery, or for attendance at the |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | event; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | (2) the commission consents in writing to the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | delivery. |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
