77 relating to the evaluation of the reduction of emissions of air
88 contaminants achieved from certain programs.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Section 386.205, Health and Safety Code, is
1111 amended to read as follows:
1212 Sec. 386.205. EVALUATION OF UTILITY COMMISSION AND
1313 COMPTROLLER ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS. (a) In cooperation with
1414 the laboratory, the utility commission shall provide an annual
1515 report to the commission that, by county, quantifies the reductions
1616 of energy demand, peak loads, and associated emissions of air
1717 contaminants achieved from programs implemented by the state energy
1818 conservation office and from programs implemented under Section
1919 39.905, Utilities Code.
2020 (b) The report must quantify reductions in the emissions of
2121 each air contaminant subject to the permitting requirements of
2222 Chapter 382.
2323 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
2424 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
2525 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
2626 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
2727 Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
