8 | 8 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

9 | 9 | | SECTION 1. Section 552.006(b), Transportation Code, is |
---|
10 | 10 | | repealed. |
---|
11 | 11 | | SECTION 2. The repeal by this Act of Section 552.006(b), |
---|
12 | 12 | | Transportation Code, does not apply to an offense committed under |
---|
13 | 13 | | that section before the effective date of the repeal. An offense |
---|
14 | 14 | | committed before the effective date of the repeal is governed by the |
---|
15 | 15 | | law applicable to the offense immediately before that date, and |
---|
16 | 16 | | that law is continued in effect for that purpose. For purposes of |
---|
17 | 17 | | this section, an offense was committed before the effective date of |
---|
18 | 18 | | the repeal if any element of the offense occurred before that date. |
---|
19 | 19 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
