| 8 | 8 | | stabilization fund for maintenance, renovation, and repair of |

| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. In addition to other amounts appropriated to the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Texas Facilities Commission for the state fiscal biennium ending |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | August 31, 2017, $500 million is appropriated out of the economic |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | stabilization fund to the Texas Facilities Commission for that |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | state fiscal biennium for purposes of providing general building |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | maintenance for, and renovating and repairing, state buildings for |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | which the commission provides facilities management services under |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Section 2165.007, Government Code, or under the terms of a |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | memorandum of understanding. Maintenance, renovation, and repairs |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | for which money appropriated under this section may be used |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | includes maintenance, renovation, and repairs of electrical, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | mechanical, plumbing, and sewer systems. |

| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015, but only |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | if the Act receives a vote of two-thirds of the members present in |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | each house of the legislature, as provided by Section 49-g(m), |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Article III, Texas Constitution. |
