| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, | |
| 12 | 12 | is amended by adding Section 504.320 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 504.320. OPERATION RESTORE HOPE VETERANS. The | |
| 14 | 14 | department shall issue specialty license plates for persons who | |
| 15 | 15 | served in the United States armed services and participated in | |
| 16 | 16 | Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. The license plates must include | |
| 17 | 17 | the words "Operation Restore Hope Veteran." | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
