| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended by adding Section 411.1953 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 411.1953. REDUCTION OF FEES FOR LICENSED FIREARMS | |
| 13 | 13 | DEALER. Notwithstanding any other provision of this subchapter, an | |
| 14 | 14 | applicant who is a licensed firearms dealer under 18 U.S.C. Section | |
| 15 | 15 | 923 shall pay a fee of $25 for the issuance of an original or renewed | |
| 16 | 16 | license under this subchapter. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only | |
| 18 | 18 | to a license issued or renewed on or after the effective date of | |
| 19 | 19 | this Act. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
