| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 26, Water Code, is amended | |
| 12 | 12 | by adding Section 26.054 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 26.054. MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS DATABASE. (a) The | |
| 14 | 14 | commission shall create and maintain on an Internet website a | |
| 15 | 15 | publicly accessible database of information about the testing and | |
| 16 | 16 | validation of materials and products used in the construction of | |
| 17 | 17 | wastewater projects. | |
| 18 | 18 | (b) The commission may coordinate the creation and | |
| 19 | 19 | maintenance of the database described in Subsection (a) with a | |
| 20 | 20 | college or department of engineering at an institution of higher | |
| 21 | 21 | education, as that term is defined by Section 61.003, Education | |
| 22 | 22 | Code. | |
| 23 | 23 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 24 | 24 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 25 | 25 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 26 | 26 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 27 | 27 | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
