The bill would require that, in establishing requirements for a permit by rule for animal crematories, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the commission must use the same criteria and requirements for animal crematories that are used for human crematories. No significant fiscal implications to the TCEQ are expected as a result of the bill's passage. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
