A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the permitting of crematories under the Texas Clean Air
Act.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 382, Health and Safety
Code, is amended by adding Section 382.069 to read as follows:
Sec. 382.069. PERMITS BY RULE FOR CREMATORIES. In
establishing requirements for a permit by rule, the commission must
use the same criteria and requirements for animal crematories that
are used for human crematories.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
