| 12 | 6 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 7 | | SECTION 1. Section 755.032(a), Health and Safety Code, is |
|---|
| 14 | 8 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 15 | 9 | | (a) The commission may adopt and enforce rules, in |
|---|
| 16 | 10 | | accordance with standard boiler usage, for the construction, |
|---|
| 17 | 11 | | inspection, installation, use, maintenance, repair, alteration, |
|---|
| 18 | 12 | | and operation of boilers. The commission may adopt standards for an |
|---|
| 19 | 13 | | inspection agency to be authorized by the department to provide |
|---|
| 20 | 14 | | inspections under this chapter. |
|---|
| 21 | 15 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 22 | 16 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 23 | 17 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 24 | 18 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 25 | 19 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
