                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 13, 2015      TO: Honorable Larry Phillips, Chair, House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3112 by Fletcher (Relating to a report to the Legislative Budget Board on the border security functions of certain state agencies.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill amends Chapter 233 of the Government Code to require certain state agencies to report to the Legislative Budget Board twice each state fiscal year on border security functions. Included in the report is the amount of money budgeted by the effected agencies for border security, the method of finance and objects of expense, and the amount of money spent for employee salaries related to border security duties.  Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
