| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 13.004(c-1), Election Code, is amended | |
| 11 | 11 | to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (c-1) The registrar shall ensure that the information | |
| 13 | 13 | listed in Subsection (c) is excluded from disclosure, except that | |
| 14 | 14 | the registrar shall, on request, forward the information necessary | |
| 15 | 15 | to contact applicants who indicate interest in working as an | |
| 16 | 16 | election judge to: | |
| 17 | 17 | (1) the state chair of each state executive committee | |
| 18 | 18 | and the county chair of each county executive committee only for the | |
| 19 | 19 | purpose of recruiting election judges or clerks for a primary | |
| 20 | 20 | election; and | |
| 21 | 21 | (2) an authority holding an election. | |
| 22 | 22 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
