| 13 | 13 | (h) A Special Agent of the Office of Inspector General of | |
| 14 | 14 | the United States Department of Homeland Security is not a peace | |
| 15 | 15 | officer under the laws of this state but has the powers of arrest, | |
| 16 | 16 | search, and seizure as to any felony or misdemeanor offense | |
| 17 | 17 | committed under the laws of this state. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
