| 12 | 6 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 13 | 7 | SECTION 1. Section 2.081, Election Code, is amended by | |
| 14 | 8 | adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 9 | (c) A county election officer, as defined by Section 31.091, | |
| 16 | 10 | may use a single combined notice of cancellation under Subsection | |
| 17 | 11 | (b) for all authorities: | |
| 18 | 12 | (1) for which the officer provides election services | |
| 19 | 13 | under contract; and | |
| 20 | 14 | (2) that declare an election moot under Subsection | |
| 21 | 15 | (a). | |
| 22 | 16 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | |
