| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 325.015(a), Government Code, is amended | |
| 11 | 11 | to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (a) During the regular session immediately before the | |
| 13 | 13 | abolition of a state agency or an advisory committee that is subject | |
| 14 | 14 | to this chapter, the legislature by law may continue the agency or | |
| 15 | 15 | advisory committee for a period not to exceed eight [12] years. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
