The bill would amend the Local Government Code to prohibit a municipality from enforcing an ordinance that limits the number of people who may assemble on certain property if the ordinance restricts the number of people who may assemble to less than what the fire prevention authority has authorized by the permit. The bill provides a definition of "fire prevention authority". Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
