| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 31.092, Election Code, is amended by | |
| 12 | 12 | adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (f) A county election officer commits an offense if the | |
| 14 | 14 | election officer prevents the county chair or the county chair's | |
| 15 | 15 | designee from supervising the conduct of the primary election, | |
| 16 | 16 | including the tabulation of results, as required by Chapter 172. An | |
| 17 | 17 | offense under this subsection is a Class B misdemeanor. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
