                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 7, 2015      TO: Honorable Byron Cook, Chair, House Committee on State Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3457 by Flynn (Relating to the methods of recovery of stranded environmental compliance costs by certain non-ERCOT electric utilities.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Utilities Code relating to the methods of recovery of stranded environmental compliance costs by certain non-ERCOT electric utilities. Based on information provided by the Public Utility Commission, Office of Public Utility Counsel, and Office of Court Administration, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
