| 14 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 15 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Chapter 90, Parks and Wildlife Code, is amended |
|---|
| 16 | 9 | | by adding Section 90.0085 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 17 | 10 | | Sec. 90.0085. CAMPING AND BUILDING FIRES PROHIBITED IN |
|---|
| 18 | 11 | | CERTAIN AREAS. (a) This section applies to a section of the Blanco |
|---|
| 19 | 12 | | River that is not located in a county adjacent to a county with a |
|---|
| 20 | 13 | | municipality with a population greater than 1.5 million. |
|---|
| 21 | 14 | | (b) Notwithstanding Section 90.008(a), a person may not |
|---|
| 22 | 15 | | camp or build a fire in a dry riverbed. |

| 23 | 16 | | SECTION 2. Section 90.011(a), Parks and Wildlife Code, is |
|---|
| 24 | 17 | | amended to read as follows: |

| 25 | 18 | | (a) A person commits an offense if the person violates |
|---|
| 26 | 19 | | Section 90.002, [or] 90.008, or 90.0085. |

| 27 | 20 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
