9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Subchapter H, Chapter 1101, Occupations Code, is | |
10 | 10 | amended by adding Section 1101.3631 to read as follows: | |
11 | 11 | Sec. 1101.3631. REACTIVATION OF BROKER LICENSE. (a) A | |
12 | 12 | person whose license as a broker was on inactive status on August | |
13 | 13 | 31, 2011, and who has a degree in real estate from an accredited | |
14 | 14 | college or university may reactivate the license without complying | |
15 | 15 | with the requirements and procedures for obtaining an original | |
16 | 16 | license. | |
17 | 17 | (b) This section expires January 1, 2017. | |
18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
