| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 542.203, Transportation Code, is amended | |
| 10 | 10 | by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (d) Notwithstanding any other law, a local authority may not | |
| 12 | 12 | enforce a traffic law: | |
| 13 | 13 | (1) only by photographic means; or | |
| 14 | 14 | (2) by civil enforcement based only on evidence | |
| 15 | 15 | obtained through photographic means. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
