A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the panel of experts appointed to advise the Texas
Windstorm Insurance Association.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 2210.578(f), Insurance Code, is amended
to read as follows:
(f) After consideration of the recommendations made by the
panel under Subsection (e), the commissioner shall by rule
establish publish guidelines that the association will use to
settle claims.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
