| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 254, Election Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended by adding Section 254.044 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 254.044. DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN INFORMATION NOT | |
| 13 | 13 | ALLOWED. (a) For purposes of this section, "donor" means a person | |
| 14 | 14 | who makes a contribution. | |
| 15 | 15 | (b) Notwithstanding any other law, a person required to | |
| 16 | 16 | disclose information in a report required by this chapter may not | |
| 17 | 17 | disclose in the report information regarding a contribution, other | |
| 18 | 18 | than a political contribution, that a donor specifically requests | |
| 19 | 19 | that the person not use to make a political contribution or | |
| 20 | 20 | political expenditure. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
