| 12 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 442, Government Code, is |
|---|
| 14 | 12 | | amended by adding Section 442.030 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 15 | 13 | | Sec. 442.030. FEES WAIVED FOR PERSONS WITH CERTAIN |
|---|
| 16 | 14 | | DISABILITIES. (a) The commission shall waive the individual |
|---|
| 17 | 15 | | entrance fees or any vehicle entrance fee to museums and other |
|---|
| 18 | 16 | | facilities under the control of the commission for a person with a |
|---|
| 19 | 17 | | physical, mental, intellectual, or developmental disability and a |
|---|
| 20 | 18 | | paid personal attendant present to assist that person. |
|---|
| 21 | 19 | | (b) The commission, in consultation with the Health and |
|---|
| 22 | 20 | | Human Services Commission, shall by rule establish eligibility |
|---|
| 23 | 21 | | requirements and procedures to implement this section. |

| 24 | 22 | | SECTION 2. Subchapter A, Chapter 13, Parks and Wildlife |
|---|
| 25 | 23 | | Code, is amended by adding Section 13.023 to read as follows: |

| 26 | 24 | | Sec. 13.023. FEES WAIVED FOR PERSONS WITH CERTAIN |
|---|
| 27 | 25 | | DISABILITIES. (a) The department shall waive the individual |
|---|
| 28 | 26 | | entrance fees or any vehicle entrance fee to state parks, |
|---|
| 29 | 27 | | recreational areas, and other facilities under the control of the |
|---|
| 30 | 28 | | department for a person with a physical, mental, intellectual, or |
|---|
| 31 | 29 | | developmental disability and a paid personal attendant present to |
|---|
| 32 | 30 | | assist that person. |
|---|
| 33 | 31 | | (b) The commission, in consultation with the Health and |
|---|
| 34 | 32 | | Human Services Commission, shall by rule establish eligibility |
|---|
| 35 | 33 | | requirements and procedures to implement this section. |
|---|
| 36 | 34 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
