| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 472, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | is amended by adding Section 472.036 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 472.036. INTERNET BROADCAST AND ARCHIVE OF OPEN |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | MEETINGS. In a manner that complies with Section 551.128(c), |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Government Code, a metropolitan planning organization shall |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | broadcast over the Internet live video and audio of each open |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | meeting held by the policy board. Subsequently, the organization |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | shall make available through the organization's Internet website |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | archived video and audio for each meeting for which live video and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | audio was provided under this section. |

| 20 | 20 | | SECTION 2. The changes in law made by this Act apply only to |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | an open meeting held on or after the effective date of this Act. |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
