| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, | |
| 11 | 11 | is amended by adding Section 504.320 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 504.320. IRAQ CAMPAIGN MEDAL RECIPIENTS. The | |
| 13 | 13 | department shall issue specialty license plates for recipients of | |
| 14 | 14 | the Iraq Campaign Medal. License plates issued under this section | |
| 15 | 15 | must include the Iraq Campaign Medal emblem and must include the | |
| 16 | 16 | words "Iraq Campaign Medal" at the bottom of each plate. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. Section 504.202(e-1), Transportation Code, is | |
| 18 | 18 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 19 | 19 | (e-1) Other than license plates issued under Subsection | |
| 20 | 20 | (h), license plates issued under this section may include, on | |
| 21 | 21 | request: | |
| 22 | 22 | (1) the emblem of the veteran's branch of service; or | |
| 23 | 23 | (2) one emblem from another license plate to which the | |
| 24 | 24 | person is entitled under Section 504.308, 504.315, 504.316, [or] | |
| 25 | 25 | 504.319, or 504.320. | |
| 26 | 26 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
