| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Charles Semple and the former Margaret Wunsch met |

| 10 | 11 | | while attending Texas Christian University, and they were united in |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | matrimony at a ceremony on that memorable day in 1965; over the |

| 12 | 13 | | years, they became the parents of two sons, Charles Semple and Brian |

| 13 | 14 | | Semple, and today their fine family has grown to include three |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | grandchildren, Charles, Henry, and Edward Semple, and one |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | daughter-in-law, Carrie Semple; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Semple |

| 17 | 18 | | has been employed as a stockbroker, landman, and investor in the oil |

| 18 | 19 | | and gas industry, and Mrs. Semple has worked as a schoolteacher and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | real estate broker while also devoting herself to her home and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | family; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Semple have enjoyed traveling across |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | the globe and visiting their grandkids and other loved ones; |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | Mr. Semple spends his free time hunting, fishing, and restoring |

| 24 | 25 | | vintage cars, and he regularly hosts friends and family in his |

| 25 | 26 | | garage for Monday Night Football parties; Mrs. Semple volunteers |

| 26 | 27 | | with the Junior League of Midland and at First Baptist Church, and |

| 27 | 28 | | her diverse interests include photography, quilting, needlepoint, |

| 28 | 29 | | and attending book club with her friends; and |
|---|
| 29 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Semple have enjoyed five decades of |

| 30 | 31 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |

| 31 | 32 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
