| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Janie Gonzalez was honored with an Outstanding |

| 6 | 7 | | Employee Award from the Behavioral Health Center of Nueces County |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1969, the Behavioral Health Center |

| 9 | 10 | | provides services to area residents who struggle with mental |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | illness and/or intellectual and developmental difficulties; in |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | times of need, citizens of Nueces County have a trusted place to |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | which they can turn, thanks to the commitment to excellence |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | demonstrated by the center's staff and team of medical specialists; |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez has been with BHCNC since September 3, |

| 16 | 17 | | 1991; as a clerk IV in the human resources department, she promotes |

| 17 | 18 | | an encouraging work environment and helps organize events held at |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | the facility; she serves on a variety of committees, and her |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | reliability and positive attitude make her a great asset to the |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | organization and to her associates; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, The Behavioral Health Center benefits immensely |

| 22 | 23 | | from the efforts of Janie Gonzalez, and it is a pleasure to join in |

| 23 | 24 | | honoring her for her dedicated service; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
