H.R. No. 1179
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jason Edmondson was named the Outstanding Youth of
the Year at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet on
February 7, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Burnet chamber recognizes
individuals and businesses for their outstanding achievements and
for their efforts to benefit the local community; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Edmondson is a senior at Burnet High School,
where he is in the top one percent of his class; he has served the
Esprit de Corps as section leader, vice president, and president,
and he has been president and treasurer of the National Honor
Society; recognized for his accomplishments, he was named September
Student of the Month by the BCISD board; and
WHEREAS, Through his exceptional contributions, Jason
Edmondson has furthered Burnet's reputation as a great place to
live, work, and raise a family, and he is indeed deserving of this
notable honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jason Edmondson on his selection as
the Outstanding Youth of the Year by the Burnet Chamber of Commerce
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Edmondson as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
