5		-	WHEREAS, Keric Donahue-Per
6		-	ez of Waco, a fourth-grade student
	6	+	WHEREAS, Keric Donahue-Perez of Waco, a fourth-grade student
7	7		at Alta Vista Elementary School, has demonstrated great
8	8		consideration of others through his honorable action; and
9	9		WHEREAS, Keric's teacher, Devin Culpepper, keeps a classroom
10	10		library that contains personal books from her childhood; Keric
11	11		recently borrowed one such book and was surprised to find $215
12	12		inside, a long-lost Christmas present that Ms. Culpepper had
13	13		received when she was nine years old; though he could have easily
14	14		kept the money without anyone's knowing, Keric returned it to his
15	15		teacher the following day; and
16	16		WHEREAS, Through his admirable behavior, Keric Donahue-Perez
17	17		has set an outstanding example for persons of all ages, and it is
18	18		indeed appropriate that he be recognized at this time; now,
19	19		therefore, be it
20	20		RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
21	21		Legislature hereby commend Keric Donahue-Perez on his honesty and
22	22		integrity and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and,
23	23		be it further
24	24		RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
25	25		prepared for Keric Donahue-Perez as an expression of high regard by
26	26		the Texas House of Representatives.
