| 10 | 11 | | Awards has worked for two decades to honor young people in middle |

| 11 | 12 | | school and high school who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment |

| 12 | 13 | | to serving their communities; this year, more than 30,000 teens |

| 13 | 14 | | from across the nation were considered for recognition; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A 16-year-old junior at Episcopal School of Dallas, |

| 15 | 16 | | Mr. Corr founded the nonprofit Kids Helping Kids organization to |

| 16 | 17 | | benefit children at Family Gateway, a local homeless shelter; when |

| 17 | 18 | | he was in the seventh grade, he started volunteering with his mother |

| 18 | 19 | | and worked to raise money and recruit other students in order to |

| 19 | 20 | | create a "teen room" at the center; this led to the formation of |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | Kids Helping Kids, which helps support youths at the shelter by |

| 21 | 22 | | planning monthly events, hosting weekly tutoring sessions, and |

| 22 | 23 | | offering mentoring services; by organizing collection drives and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | fund-raisers, Kids Helping Kids has raised more than $50,000 since |

| 24 | 25 | | its inception three years ago, including over $20,000 that was used |

| 25 | 26 | | to purchase a 15-passenger van to enable children at Family Gateway |

| 26 | 27 | | to go on educational field trips; and |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Cullen Corr has set an inspiring example of |
