| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Darrell and Janie Allen |

| 7 | 8 | | celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on January 4, |

| 8 | 9 | | 2015; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Allen were joined in matrimony on that |

| 10 | 11 | | special day in 1965; through the years, they have been blessed with |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | a treasured family that includes their three children, as well as |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | their six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Allen is |

| 14 | 15 | | retired from his work with Alcon Laboratories and Mrs. Allen has |

| 15 | 16 | | enjoyed a successful career as a social worker; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Allen have enjoyed five decades of |

| 17 | 18 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |

| 18 | 19 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 19 | 20 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
