H.R. No. 1205
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Municipal Judge Raymond Britton was recognized by
the Bruceville-Eddy City Council in January 2015 for his efforts to
benefit McLennan County; and
WHEREAS, Judge Britton worked tirelessly to establish new
programs that will identify delinquent ticket payers who have left
the state and still owe fines to the court; he also helped with the
development of new software programs designed to track citations
and amounts owed, as well as how they fit into McLennan County's
budget plans; and
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate
and engaged residents like Judge Raymond Britton, whose civic
involvement is an inspiration to all who know him; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Raymond Britton for his contributions to
McLennan County and extend to him sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Judge Britton as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
