R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Payton Herzog of Robinson took top honors in two
livestock categories at the 2014 State Fair of Texas Youth Market
Shows; and
WHEREAS, An eighth-grade student at Robinson Junior High
School, Payton is a member of the McLennan County 4-H Club; and
WHEREAS, This impressive young man captured the Champion
Heavyweight British Steer crown and then won Grand Champion Overall
Steer with his steer, Buzz; for his efforts, Payton received
$30,000 of the record $112,000 bid; and
WHEREAS, Payton Herzog has demonstrated outstanding
dedication and ability in raising his champion animal, and he may
indeed take great pride in his hard work and determination; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Payton Herzog on his outstanding
success at the 2014 State Fair of Texas Youth Market Shows and
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Payton Herzog as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
