| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, By working on robotics projects, students are able |

| 9 | 10 | | to further their knowledge across the fields of science, |

| 10 | 11 | | technology, engineering, and math and also enhance such useful |

| 11 | 12 | | skills as critical thinking, imagination, and collaboration; in the |

| 12 | 13 | | TCEA Robotics competition, students engage in a process from design |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | to implementation as they create robots devised to carry out a |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | variety of tasks; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ably guided by faculty director Roberta Walker, Buna |

| 16 | 17 | | High School freshmen competed in pairs and took home three awards; |

| 17 | 18 | | Cade Pellerin and Caleb Farnie earned first place, Mason Caillier |

| 18 | 19 | | and Caleb Tatum earned second place, and William Biscamp and Dakota |

| 19 | 20 | | Ellis earned sixth place; the top two teams will go on to the state |

| 20 | 21 | | competition, which will be held in May; and |
