45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
67 of Sharon Keeney-Black of Salado, who passed away on October 29,
78 2014, at the age of 72; and
89 WHEREAS, Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on July 15, 1942, to
910 Robert and Lenore Heidersheid, she graduated from Alverno College
1011 in Milwaukee and earned a master's degree from Texas A&M
1112 University; she went on to enjoy a notable career in administration
1213 with the Texas Disability Commission before her retirement; and
1314 WHEREAS, Devoted to her family, Mrs. Keeney-Black shared a
1415 rewarding relationship with her husband, Ira, and she took great
1516 pride in her children, Christa and Michael; and
1617 WHEREAS, Sharon Keeney-Black lived a caring and purposeful
1718 life, and she will forever be remembered with admiration and
1819 affection by all who held her close to their hearts; now, therefore,
1920 be it
2021 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2122 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Sharon Keeney-Black
2223 and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
2324 husband, Lieutenant Colonel Ira W. Black Jr.; to her children,
2425 Christa Griffith and Michael Eisenmenger; to her sister, Patricia
2526 Feavel; to her nephews, Seth, Robert, and Dennis Ostrander; to her
2627 niece, Elizabeth Richards; to her cousins in Wisconsin and Ireland;
2728 and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
3031 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sharon
3132 Keeney-Black.
