H.R. No. 1320
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dewayne Oates has ably served his fellow citizens as
a valued employee of the City of Livingston for 35 years; and
WHEREAS, Area residents benefit greatly from the dedicated
work of municipal staff, whose efforts are helping to make
Livingston an even better place in which to live and work; and
WHEREAS, Through his skill and commitment to serving the
public, Mr. Oates has contributed immeasurably to his community,
and he can take justifiable pride in a job well done; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby honor Dewayne Oates for his 35 years of service
to the City of Livingston and extend to him sincere best wishes for
the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Oates as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
