H.R. No. 1336 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, The House of Representatives of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Linda H. Conley, who has been selected for induction on March 21, 2015, into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame for her outstanding work and leadership in health professions; and WHEREAS, Since 1984, the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame annually honors those women who have contributed significantly to the San Antonio community and the Bexar County region through their accomplishments in their profession or field of service; and WHEREAS, Linda H. Conley has long served her community as a registered nurse, a lawyer and a municipal judge; and WHEREAS, She began her path of service by obtaining her nursing degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and later obtained a law degree from South Texas College of Law; and WHEREAS, Her comments on community service that "Giving back to the community through service, and telling your story is one way of letting young San Antonio women know they are on the right track," indicate that she is a worthy and deserving recipient of this honor; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the State of Texas, 84th Legislature, hereby commend Linda H. Conley for her exceptional achievements and extend congratulations to her on her induction into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her as an expression of high regard and esteem by the Texas House of Representatives.
