| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Ana Dueñez has greatly benefited the youth of her |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A former Ysleta ISD and El Paso Community College |

| 9 | 10 | | student, Ms. Dueñez was elected in May 2013 as the District 1 |

| 10 | 11 | | trustee; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Dueñez has served for 15 years on the El Paso |

| 12 | 13 | | Police Department's Citizen Advisory Board for Mission Valley and |

| 13 | 14 | | for a decade with the El Paso Lower Valley Neighborhood |

| 14 | 15 | | Association, which she currently leads as president; she also |

| 15 | 16 | | contributes her time and talents to the advisory board of Western |

| 16 | 17 | | Refinery, the City of El Paso Community Development Steering |

| 17 | 18 | | Committee, and the Neighborhood Coalition for El Paso; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Ana Dueñez has demonstrated a steadfast commitment |

| 19 | 20 | | to building a bright and promising future for local children, and in |

| 20 | 21 | | so doing, she has earned the deep respect and appreciation of her |

| 21 | 22 | | fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it |
