| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, In the 1920s, Yldefonso Sanchez moved from Leon, |

| 10 | 11 | | Mexico, to El Paso, where he went to work at Fort Bliss as a cobbler |

| 11 | 12 | | alongside another boot maker, Tony Lama Sr.; in 1928, Mr. Sanchez |

| 12 | 13 | | opened his own business, and during the 1940s and 1950s, his son and |

| 13 | 14 | | daughter-in-law, Jose Lucas and Cuca Sanchez, expanded the business |
