| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The 75th birthday of a distinguished Texan is indeed |

| 6 | 7 | | cause for celebration, and Larry Wolf of Cuero reached that special |

| 7 | 8 | | milestone on December 24, 2014; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A teacher in Bloomington and Kyle for many years, |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | Mr. Wolf joined the Cuero Independent School District in 1967 as a |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | band director; over the course of a tenure that spanned nearly three |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | decades there, he served as an inspiring mentor, motivator, and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | role model to countless students, instilling in them a love of music |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | and an enduring commitment to excellence; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Now retired, Mr. Wolf continues to contribute to his |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | community by volunteering at Cuero High and Junior High Schools, |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | where he helps young musicians prepare for marching band |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | competitions and for the University Interscholastic League Solo and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | Ensemble Contest; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Wolf is blessed in all of his endeavors with the |

| 20 | 21 | | love and companionship of his wife, Dottie, and he takes great pride |

| 21 | 22 | | in their children, Catt and Steven; and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Respected and admired by all who are privileged to |

| 23 | 24 | | know him, Larry Wolf may reflect with great satisfaction on his many |

| 24 | 25 | | achievements, and it is a pleasure to honor him for 75 years of life |

| 25 | 26 | | well lived; now, therefore, be it |

| 26 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 27 | 28 | | Legislature hereby commemorate the 75th birthday of Larry Wolf and |
