| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, TASSP annually recognizes secondary school |

| 9 | 10 | | administrators throughout Texas who have demonstrated exceptional |

| 10 | 11 | | performance and leadership; nominations for the award are submitted |

| 11 | 12 | | by peers, parents, and students, and state winners are eligible for |

| 12 | 13 | | consideration as the national principal of the year; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Selected for the prestigious accolade out of a pool |

| 14 | 15 | | of more than 5,500 worthy candidates, Mr. Flores works diligently |

| 15 | 16 | | for the betterment of his school, encouraging his students and |

| 16 | 17 | | peers to succeed and serving as a strong and caring role model for |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed administrator is a familiar face at |

| 21 | 22 | | he was also honored as the organization's Region 2 Middle School |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, The commitment to excellence that Marcos Flores has |

| 26 | 27 | | he is helping many young Texans to acquire the skills they will need |
