| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Senior Officer Brandon Cordell was named the 2014 |

| 7 | 7 | | Field Training Officer of the Year by the Corpus Christi Police |

| 8 | 8 | | Department in recognition of his outstanding service; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Senior Officer Cordell was selected for this honor |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | by CCPD recruits, who gave him high marks for the valuable mentoring |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and detailed evaluations he provided throughout the training |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | program; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, This dedicated public servant has earned the respect |

| 14 | 14 | | and admiration of his fellow officers by demonstrating integrity, a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork in each of his |

| 16 | 16 | | duties; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Senior Officer Cordell has proven himself to be an |

| 18 | 18 | | exemplary member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with |

| 19 | 19 | | pride on the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare |

| 20 | 20 | | of the citizens of Corpus Christi; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Senior Officer Brandon Cordell on |
