H.R. No. 1496
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lieutenant Christopher White was named the 2014
Supervisor of the Year by the Corpus Christi Police Department in
recognition of his outstanding service; and
WHEREAS, During 2014, Lieutenant White distinguished himself
in the department by leading operations to reduce burglary and
theft of motor vehicles, one of the biggest crime issues facing the
city; and
WHEREAS, This dedicated public servant has earned the respect
and admiration of his colleagues by demonstrating integrity, a
strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork in each of his
duties; and
WHEREAS, Lieutenant White has proven himself to be an
exemplary member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with
pride on the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare
of the citizens of Corpus Christi; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Lieutenant Christopher White on
being named the Corpus Christi Police Department's 2014 Supervisor
of the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success with his important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Lieutenant White as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
