45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Senior Officer Robert Larock was named the 2014
67 Investigator of the Year by the Corpus Christi Police Department in
78 recognition of his outstanding service; and
89 WHEREAS, A member of the CCPD narcotics vice investigations
910 division, Senior Officer Larock distinguished himself in 2014 by
1011 conducting 28 operations and writing 21 search warrants, which
1112 accounted for more than 25 percent of the division's production;
1213 moreover, his extraordinary interrogation skills led to the
1314 confiscation of illegal substances worth over $2.6 million, and he
1415 was instrumental in one of the largest currency seizures in the
1516 history of the department; and
1617 WHEREAS, This dedicated public servant has earned the respect
1718 and admiration of his fellow officers by demonstrating integrity, a
1819 strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork in each of his
1920 duties; and
2021 WHEREAS, Senior Officer Larock has proven himself to be an
2122 exemplary member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with
2223 pride on the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare
2324 of the citizens of Corpus Christi; now, therefore, be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby congratulate Senior Officer Robert Larock on
2627 being named the Corpus Christi Police Department's 2014
2728 Investigator of the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for
2829 continued success with his important work; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Senior Officer Larock as an expression of high regard
3132 by the Texas House of Representatives.
