| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Senior Officer Robert Larock was named the 2014 |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A member of the CCPD narcotics vice investigations |

| 9 | 10 | | division, Senior Officer Larock distinguished himself in 2014 by |

| 10 | 11 | | conducting 28 operations and writing 21 search warrants, which |

| 11 | 12 | | accounted for more than 25 percent of the division's production; |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | moreover, his extraordinary interrogation skills led to the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | confiscation of illegal substances worth over $2.6 million, and he |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | was instrumental in one of the largest currency seizures in the |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | history of the department; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This dedicated public servant has earned the respect |

| 17 | 18 | | and admiration of his fellow officers by demonstrating integrity, a |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork in each of his |

| 19 | 20 | | duties; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Senior Officer Larock has proven himself to be an |

| 21 | 22 | | exemplary member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with |

| 22 | 23 | | pride on the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare |

| 23 | 24 | | of the citizens of Corpus Christi; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
