H.R. No. 1498
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Senior Officer Joshua Clark was named the 2014
Officer of the Year by the Corpus Christi Police Department in
recognition of his outstanding service; and
WHEREAS, During the course of his tenure with the department,
Senior Officer Clark has distinguished himself as a member of the
uniform division, where he helps fight crime in the city's Bravo
District; and
WHEREAS, This dedicated public servant has earned the respect
and admiration of his fellow officers by demonstrating integrity, a
strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork in each of his
duties; and
WHEREAS, Senior Officer Clark has proven himself to be an
exemplary member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with
pride on the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare
of the citizens of Corpus Christi; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Senior Officer Joshua Clark on
being named the Corpus Christi Police Department's 2014 Officer of
the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
with his important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Senior Officer Clark as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
