H.R. No. 1525
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, December 31, 2014, marked the 50th wedding
anniversary of Rudy and Lana Kirby of Grand Saline and a wonderful
milestone in a life happily shared; and
WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary is a celebration of
love that has stood the test of time, and five decades after that
special day in 1964, Rudy and Lana Kirby continue to bring out the
best in one another and to inspire all who share in the richness of
their lives; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, this Texas couple have brought
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Rudy and Lana Kirby on their 50th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kirby as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
