H.R. No. 1526
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Donald and Donna Money of Greenville celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary on January 8, 2015, and they may
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have
shared; and
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1965, Donald Jerry Money
and the former Donna Lee Ely exchanged the vows of matrimony in
Anaheim, California, and over the course of their marriage, they
have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Money count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their children, Carl Money and his wife,
Frances, Devin Money and his wife, Jeannie, Daren Money and his
wife, Angie, and Debbie Raney and her husband, Tony; over the
decades, the couple have also welcomed into their family 12
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure
spending many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Donald Jerry and Donna Lee Money
have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion,
and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Donald and Donna Money on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
