R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Steven Vollmar, an investigator with the Burnet
Police Department, was named the Wallace Riddell Law Enforcement
Officer of the Year at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce annual awards
banquet on February 7, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Burnet chamber recognizes
individuals and businesses for their outstanding achievements and
for their efforts to benefit the local community; and
WHEREAS, Through his exceptional contributions, Steven
Vollmar has furthered Burnet's reputation as a great place to live,
work, and raise a family, and he is indeed deserving of this notable
honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Steven Vollmar on his selection as
the Wallace Riddell Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the
Burnet Chamber of Commerce and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Vollmar as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
