| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Situated on an eight-acre site, this |

| 9 | 10 | | 18,700-square-foot office is more than double the size of its |

| 10 | 11 | | former location, allowing a staff of 23 full-time employees and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | providing capacity for 12 work stations, 2 customer waiting rooms, |

| 12 | 13 | | and some 250 parking spaces; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The state-of-the-art building has also been |

| 14 | 15 | | outfitted with expanded driving lanes for passenger and commercial |

| 15 | 16 | | driving skills testing and with an upgraded queuing system, which |

| 16 | 17 | | enables customers to remotely secure a spot in line; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, With this facility, the Texas Department of Public |
